Terms of use and software license

By installing or using TesseraSnap, you agree to these terms.

The short version

• The free version is free for home or work, on any number of PCs.
• Pro is one payment. Each PC needs its own license; packs cover two or three.
• Don't crack the license check or trial, or share your key.
• No warranty; our liability is limited to what you paid.

Who these terms are between

You and the developer of TesseraSnap, an individual working under the name TappsAI (“we”, “us”). “TesseraSnap” means the program, its installer and any updates we publish.

The free version

• You may install and use TesseraSnap free, for personal or work use, on any number of PCs, with no time limit.
• You get the right to use it, not ownership.
• You may not sell it or distribute modified copies.

The Pro trial

Every install includes 7 days of every Pro feature. Then Pro switches off and the free version continues under these terms.

The Pro license

• One payment; the license does not expire.
• Each PC needs its own license; a 2-PC pack covers two PCs, a 3-PC pack three. Personal or work use.
• You may move a license to another PC by removing it from the old one.
• Selling, giving away or transferring it to someone else needs our OK first: email [email protected].
• TesseraSnap checks your key online at activation and occasionally afterwards (see the privacy policy).
• Refunds within 14 days of buying (see the refund policy).
• For Pro bought in the Microsoft Store, Microsoft's terms for the purchase also apply.

Things you agree not to do

• Reverse engineer, decompile, modify or bypass the license check or the trial timer, or help others do so.
• Share your key publicly, or use it on more PCs than your license covers.
• Sell, rent or redistribute TesseraSnap, free or Pro, as your own product.

These terms don't remove rights your local law gives you that cannot be signed away.

No warranty

TesseraSnap is provided “as is”, with no promise that it is bug-free, works with every program or setup, or suits your purpose. It moves and resizes other programs' windows; it does not open or change their files.

Limitation of liability

• As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using TesseraSnap, such as lost work, data or profits.
• Our total liability for anything to do with TesseraSnap is what you paid us for it: zero for the free version.
• Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending these terms

• You can stop at any time by uninstalling TesseraSnap.
• If you seriously break these terms, such as by publishing your key, we may deactivate your license. Your right to use TesseraSnap then ends; stop using it and remove it.

Changes to these terms

When we update these terms, the date above changes; important changes go in the changelog. A change never takes away a Pro license you already bought.
