Your Mac window keys, now on Windows 11
The same letters, with Ctrl+Alt where the Mac had Control and Option. Pro brings the throw, layouts and Stash.
- Built in Rust
- About 2 MB, one process
- Free, no time limit
- Pro $9.99 once, per PC
What comes with you
Your Mac habits work the same way here.
The same letters
22 shortcuts out of the box, on the letters you know. Press again for two thirds, then a third.
Throw, the way you did it
Hold the keys, flick toward one of 16 targets, let go. If you threw with Control+Command, Ctrl+Win plays that part, without opening Start.
A window kept at the edge
Slide a window off any outer edge with a sliver showing. Point at the sliver to peek; move away and it hides.
- Layouts Five slots, restored by shortcut or when displays change, the PC wakes or an app opens. (Pro)
- Quick Throw, Move & Resize Tap Ctrl+Shift mid-move to send a window, or hold keys to move or resize it; Esc undoes. (Pro)
- Windows' Snap, handled Paused while TesseraSnap runs, back on when you quit.
Your keys carry over
The defaults are the Mac's, with Ctrl+Alt for Control+Option; change any of them on the Keyboard Shortcuts page.

Windows' own Snap may be enough if
- on the Mac you mostly used left half, right half and maximize
- you rarely moved windows from the keyboard
- you would rather install nothing
Not in TesseraSnap
- Snap targets anywhere on screen, or a trackpad throw.
- Always on top. Stash and Pin Mode come closest.
- Windows 10, or a long track record: TesseraSnap is version 0.1, closed source, by one person.
Try it with your Mac shortcuts
Free, no time limit, at home or at work. Every install includes a 7-day Pro trial.
